Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Frankly ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our executive dashboard application and connect it to third-party services like QuickBooks Online. Frankly is operated by Corporate Event Interactive, Inc.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When your organization invites you, we collect your name and email address. Frankly has no self-registration: access is by invitation only, and sign-in is handled through single sign-on (SSO). Frankly never stores passwords.
  • Third-Party Financial Data (Intuit/QuickBooks): When your organization authorizes a connection to QuickBooks Online, we receive an OAuth access token. We use this token to read financial data (such as account balances, transactions, and geographic vendor/member data) strictly to generate visual dashboards. We do not collect or store your QuickBooks login passwords.
  • Employee Time and Compensation Records: For the agency's own QuickBooks company, Frankly also syncs employee time activity and compensation records in order to provide labor and profitability analytics to that organization.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data we ingest from QuickBooks is used exclusively to populate your organization's dashboard. We do not use your financial data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the requested visualization services. Frankly is a read-only reporting tool: it accesses QuickBooks Online on a strictly read-only basis — it displays your data but does not create, modify, or delete any records in your accounting system.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our own self-hosted, dedicated server infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and are never shared or exposed. Each organization's data is segregated with strict, database-enforced Row-Level Security (RLS) so that it is only accessible to authorized users within that organization.

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

Frankly uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The application stores only what it needs to operate:

  • Session storage: your sign-in (OIDC) tokens, kept for the duration of the browser session.
  • Local storage: the identifier of the organization you last selected, so your dashboard reopens where you left off.
  • Cookies: our single sign-on identity provider sets session cookies to keep you signed in.

5. Data Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information. We only share data when legally required by law enforcement or with explicit consent from the account administrator. Frankly relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Intuit (QuickBooks Online): the source of the financial data you authorize Frankly to read.
  • Google Workspace (SMTP relay): used to deliver transactional email only, such as invitations and account-recovery messages.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

QuickBooks data that has been synced into Frankly remains in our database after you disconnect QuickBooks; disconnecting stops new data from being fetched but does not itself erase previously synced data. Synced data is retained until your organization requests deletion or offboards from the service. To request deletion of your organization's data, contact us at support@camsuccess.com.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information Frankly holds about you or your organization at any time by emailing support@camsuccess.com or by contacting your organization's system administrator. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

8. Breach Notification

If we confirm a security incident affecting your organization's data, we will notify affected organizations without undue delay and provide the information needed to understand and respond to the incident.

9. Revoking Access

You may disconnect Frankly from your QuickBooks Online account at any time — either from our Settings page or directly through the Intuit App Center. In both cases we stop being able to read your QuickBooks data, but the two paths differ slightly in timing:

  • From our Settings page: we ask Intuit to revoke the authorization and immediately erase the stored connection credentials. The credentials are erased whether or not Intuit confirms the revocation.
  • From the Intuit App Center: Intuit stops honoring our authorization. Frankly learns of this the next time it renews its access, and then marks the connection as requiring re-authorization; a short-lived access token already issued to us may remain valid for up to about an hour until it expires. The stored credential is dead from that point on, and is erased when the connection is removed or reconnected from our Settings page.

Previously synced data is retained as described in Section 6 until your organization requests deletion.
